SHS Band Parents: Let me first apologize to anyone who either arrived late or missed the monthly booster meeting on Tuesday evening due to confusion regarding the start time of the meetings. With the first meeting of the year, we moved the start time to 6:30 PM to hopefully keep the meetings from going to late. I understand that there was a disconnect from the information in the student handbook regarding the start time, and we will get that corrected and posted to the web site.
As a reminder, Booster meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month, except where noted below due to conflicts or other events with the ,meeting starting at 6:30 PM. Our Web Master and communications chair person do a great job of getting the information out and update the web page at least daily. My goal is to have as much parental participation at the booster meetings as possible. The meetings are as much informational as they are social in nature and they are a good opportunity to meet with other parents, the board and the directors. Below is a list of the remaining meetings between now and the end of the fall semester:
14 October: 6:30 PM-Changed due to Fall Break 11 Novemebr: 6:30 PM-Changed due to Election Day 02 December: 6:30 PM-Regular meeting
Again, please check the SHS Web Site as the location might change from the Cafeteria back to the band room based on availability of the cafeteria. That information will be posted at least 24 hours in advance and a email will go out announcing the upcoming meeting.
Again, my apologies to anyone who missed the meeting and much thanks to all those who assisted at last Thursdays game and the Monday night Freshmen/JV Game.
We will see you all Friday night at the first home game. Come out cheer on the band and the football team.

All Parents:
If you ordered a Band Booster shirt during F3 Day in July, your shirt will be available for pick-up after band practice, Thursday, Sept. 4 and before the home game on Friday. Sept. 5. Additionally, I will be taking a final order for the shirts at that time. They are $25.00 for sizes S-XL and $29.00 for 2XL. The minimum that can be ordered at one time is 15.
